The process manufacturing industry relies on process heating to make their goods or serivces. When it comes to electric heating, this primarily utilises resistance heating through radiative systems to process material. While there are countless applications, we have highlighted a few for you to explore.

Highdemands on better utility ,STA, having experience of many differentheating systems in theirown materials testing facility, were asked to come up with a solutionand suggested MoSi2 heating modules and a work tube made from HREalloy.

Fiberheater is a family of ready-to-install heating units with molybdenumdisilicide (MoSi2) heating elements integrated with ceramic fiber.

The modules are available as tubes, half-shells or panels in a broadproduct range. Maximum working temperature is 1500–1600°Cdepending on design

In this case half-shells were chosen to form aneasy to open furnace.

1.Preheating is the process of bringing material up to a certain temperature before further processing. This can be done to remove water in the material (aluminum processing) or to prevent large temperature gradients between the furnace and material. The main purpose for pre-heating parts used for extracting aluminium is:

Remove water (liquid) from the goods so that the molten aluminium or cast iron used in the process does not heat the water to gas phase causing an explosion. Because explosions like this have happened in the industry in the past it is considered a must to pre-heat everything in order to not cause accidents.

Pre-heating the goods to working temperature allow for controlled freezing of cast iron or avoid freezing of the molten aluminium in the moulds.

Pre heating can also be used to melt out solid aluminium in order to clean parts.

2. Drying --MoSi2 heater can dry of various types of materials and products. Our products are widely used in, for example: Chemicals drying Food drying Ore concentrates drying Paint drying Paper drying  Powder drying  Wood drying

3. copper melting and copper annealing

4.Themetallic tube is fabricated from the HRE( FeCrAl) alloy in a specialway which gives the tube outstanding high temperature oxidation andform stability properties.

The tube can be used up to 1200C . Outsidethe heating chamber,

the tube is water cooled and at the ends thereare welded inlets for introducing different gases and vacuum.
